Regional Referee Training Requirements (18 years and older)

*  Register as an AYSO volunteer annually
*   Complete the online background check and live fingerprinting for California.  The region will cover the cost for both.
*   Complete the required Online Courses listed below.  Access the courses in AYSOU by logging into your Sports Connect
     account.
- AYSO Safe Haven
- CDC Concussion Awareness
  - Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- CEU Stewards of the Game online course (This is located under the Safe Haven courses)
- Safe Sport online course
*    After completing the prerequisites above, log into AYSOU and register for an in-person Regional Referee Course to
     complete your exam.
*    You will receive certification upon passing the exam.
